ZF Electronics appoints new Distribution Manager for Cherry switch, sensor and computer input products

Role to encompass strategic accounts in Europe and worldwide

Mark MillsZF Electronics has appointed Mark Mills as Distribution Manager for all its Cherry brand products with effect from January 1st 2010. Mills is based at ZF Electronics’ UK office in Luton, Bedfordshire and will be responsible for significantly increasing revenue in the next three years – more than doubling today’s currently healthy sales turnover. His additional responsibilities include strategic management of key accounts such as RS Components in Europe and the coordination of worldwide accounts.

Mills, 28, has worked in the industry for ten years in key account sales, business development and marketing with well-known companies including broadline distributor, Arrow Electronics. He joined ZF Electronics (formerly Cherry Electrical Products) in January 2006 as Area Sales Manager.

He commented: “Our popular Cherry brand is well known and will continue to evolve to meet the demands of a highly competitive and changing marketplace. We will be introducing new and exciting products which should significantly increase our market share for both our switches and controls and computer input devices. We are also broadening our distribution network and expanding partnering initiatives.

Mills enjoys travelling and is a keen sportsman. He is currently studying for an MBA which he will complete this summer.
