New from Aerco is a range of IP-rated axial AC equipment fans that are ideal for cooling cabinets that are located outdoors or where there is a danger of water ingress.
Made by Bi-Sonic the range includes 80 x 80x 38mm, 120 x 120 x 38mm and 170 x 150 x 55mm frame sizes all protected to IP54. They are built in metal frames with die-cast aluminium housing and either a metal or plastic UL-94VO impeller. All metal bladed impellers are individually balanced.
Approved to CE, CSA, TUV, Ul, and VDE the Bi-Sonic IP range achieve airflow of up to 66.4 litres/sec (120 CFM) and the shaded pole motor operating from 115 or 230 VAC is impedance protected. Ball or sleeve bearings provide long life and operating temperature is up to 75ºC.
The fans will be ideal for process equipment that requires hosing down, in display advertising units to prevent moistening up of glass panels, in refrigeration equipment where damp conditions may be encountered and in test chambers where high humidity environments are experienced.
