UMTC connectors from Quadrant are ideal for demanding applications where space is critical

The Telegärtner UMTC (Ultra Miniature Telecommunication Connector) range, available in the UK from Quadrant, is an ultra-miniature, 50ohm coaxial connector, compatible with U.FL, MHF (I-PEX) connector series and other connector types.

With a maximum height of 2.5mm from a PCB these high quality, highly reliable connectors have excellent electrical performance and can be used for frequencies up to 6GHz making them ideal for applications where space is critical such as W-LAN and GSM modules, GPS and Bluetooth systems, antenna pigtails and RF measurement equipment.

The single screened, 50ohm, coaxial cable used has an overall diameter of 1.13mm and the range includes UMTC cable assemblies that use the Telegärtner UMTC elbow jack at one or both ends and the single-ended version can be terminated with SMA, R-SMA or TNC connectors.

Additional to the UMTC range are UMTC adapters to SMA bulkhead jack and R-SMA bulkhead jack connectors.
