ETR’s portfolio of products include SSM (‘Smart-Sensor-Module’), an energy-efficient device for climate control and air treatment featuring an ‘on-demand’ control function.
When the air pollution detected is low the treatment is scaled down, which reduces drastically energy use for heating, cooling or air circulation systems; in highly frequented rooms with higher level of polluted air, ventilation is increased.
Acte will also distribute the USM 5.1 family of products developed by ETR; these modules are available with different control switches to detect Methane (≥5000ppm), LPG (≥2160ppm), Ethanol (≥250ppm), Hydrogen (≥200ppm) and carbon monoxide (≥30ppm).
The new agreement also covers ETR’s patented PATT (Physical Air Treatment Technology) sensors, which are designed to get rid of bad smell, germs and viruses through a dielectrically-hampered discharge method.
Through this technique active oxygen ions in the air interact with and destroy the germs and proteins on a sorption catalytic surface, resulting in greater hygiene and a reduction of bad smells and power consumption. Ideal applications include climate control, sterilization equipment, and room air quality treatment.
Mike Collen, Managing Director for Acte, said: “Modern sensor-systems and the latest micro technology can help to reduce energy consumption, increase hygiene level, as well as comfort and security in private, business and public places and buildings; our partnership with ETR will allow us to bring to the UK market a unique portfolio of highly sought-after products.”
