Large-format, touch-enabled LCD displays are increasingly being adopted in a wide range of applications including information kiosks (in supermarkets, restaurants, banks and airports, for example), electronic games for casinos, information boards for hotels, convention centres, conference rooms, airports, train stations, money exchange offices and more.
As it is based on the detection of mechanical vibrations caused by touch, the DST technology is totally unaffected by on-screen contaminants or surface scratches and is therefore reliable even in public applications.
