Binder UK, the newly formed UK subsidiary of Franz Binder GmbH, has appointed Graham Ellis as key account manager with the primary responsibilities of targeting and developing new business opportunities. Graham Ellis has long experience in the UK connector industry having previously enjoyed considerable success at Amphenol Tuchel, Molex and ITT Cannon.
David Phillips, Binder UK managing director, said: “Graham is well known and highly respected in the UK connector industry and his experience, market knowledge and technical expertise makes him the ideal addition to our team. This appointment is a perfect fit with our strategy of establishing strong local support for the UK market.
“His main task will be developing OEMs within new target market areas such as medical devices, security and lighting as well as supporting existing core markets such as sensors and automation. In addition, his role will include supporting the newly appointed network of key specialist distributors.”
