Our client is a world-leading developer of ICs and system level solutions targeting hand held consumer electronic and wireless devices, are seeking outstanding Engineers to work at the forefront of technology, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Current organisational growth means there are requirements for Analog Design Engineers at all levels and in locations across Europe.

Key Objectives:

 

  • Development of complex mixed signal IC for portable platforms.
  • Develop new techniques and capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Specification and design of complex analogue circuits within high performance ICs.
  • Provide technical support for a product from its conception through to production.
  • Evaluation and analysis of silicon performance.
  • Work with layout engineers on critical blocks.
  • Technical support of the sales and marketing teams.

 

Skills / Experience:

Design experience of analog circuits in CMOS, including some of the following areas;

  • low power audio, oscillators, op-amps, transceivers, bandgap references, DACs, ADCs, filters, regulators, signal  conditioning circuits (switched and continuous time).
  • Knowledge of power management (linear, DC-DC, battery charger circuits) or Audio converters would be an asset.
  • Proficiency with SPICE (or similar simulator)
  • Detailed layout judgement capabilities
  • Experience in all phases of design: specification, design capture, verification, block layout and lab validation.
  • Successful completion of several ICs from specification through to lab validation.

Location for this role could be England, Scotland, Germany or France.
